St Patrick's Day Parade – Facilitated by Community Timebank
You are invited to Glounthaune Parish St. Patrick's Day Parade. This will take place after 10am mass and will finish in Glounthaune Village. All children not already marching with their club are invited to dress-up and to march in the Parade. All groups interested in participating in the St. Patrick's Day Parade are invited to contact Community Timebank. We will also have displays from Irish dancers and a visiting troupe of Spanish Dancers. The Parade takes place after 10 am mass on Patrick's Day. We are also looking for sponsorship to provide refreshments to our dancers. All donations gratefully received – no matter how big or small!
Heartsafe CPR Training – Facilitated by Community Timebank
Learn basic life support skills to help sustain life at home and at work by taking part in the Heartsafe Community Initiative. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) can save lives and the earlier the intervention, the better. CPR is an easily learned first aid procedure, which if used promptly after cardiac arrest can sustain life until medical help arrives.
Local CPR Training: Open to everyone aged 16+

Jonathan Herlihy Match – Jonathan Herlihy 11 v UCC Soccer Match
In aid of the Jonathan Herlihy Trust Fund, a Jonathan Herlihy selection from Riverstown FC v UCC Senior Team on Saturday, 31 st of March in the Mardyke. There will be two matches, the first is at 4.30 pm and the big match is on at 6 p.m. Tickets are €10 and will include entry to the match, a post-match function at the Vienna Woods Hotel and entry into a draw for two tickets to the Ireland v Germany Qualifier in Croke Park in September as well as overnight accommodation in Dublin. Tickets are available from Ryan's Supervalu, Glanmire, Vienna Woods, HQ Printing, Little Island, UCC AFA, Hackett's Bookmakers, B2K Glanmire, Glanmire Credit Union, Riverstown F.C.
Join Community Timebank Steering Group!!!
The first Community Timebank Steering Group will be held on Tuesday, 20th March 2007 at 8pm in the Timebank Office, Glounthaune Community Centre. The role of Steering Group is to decide how best to use the time and resources of Community Timebank to support and develop the community. All are most welcome.
Well Done to Knockraha Community Association
Congratulations to the Knockraha Community Association and to all who took part in the Knockraha Variety Concert on the 2nd March. The event was a great success and well done to all involved.
Well Done to Erin's Own
Well done to Erin's Own on organising a fantastic Victory Dinner which was held in the Rochestown Park Hotel on Saturday, 10th March. A great night was had by all.
Youth Café Update
We are nearly ready to open up the Timebank Youth Work and a registration night will held in the coming weeks. More adult volunteers are always welcome to become involved. Helping out will involve attending the Youth Café one Friday night a month and going to one team meeting a month. If you would like to get involved or if you would like more information about the Youth Café, contact Community Timebank.
Sarsfield's Hurling Club Table Quiz
Sarsfield's Hurling Club will be having a Table Quiz on Thursday March 15th at 9p.m. It is €20 for a table of four. Everyone welcome.

Community Games Art Competition
The Community Games committee would like to thank the four primary schools of the parish for participating in the recent art competition. There were a large number of entries and the standard was very high. Congratulations and well done to all the children.
