Well Done
Well done to all those who took part in the Summer Youth Project which was funded by the Glounthaune Community Association and organised by Community Timebank. The young people did fantastic work including painting the playground fence, litter picks, dry stone walling and maintenance work to the community centre.
Erins Own
Erins Own would like to thank every-one who supported and attended the opening of the new facilities in Caherlag. The evening was a fantastic family event and was much enjoyed by all.
Erins Own Summer Camp
Caherlag 2-5pm Monday 14th August - Friday 18th August
The camps are open to Boys and girls aged 6-14. Every
child will receive a
top of the range playing kit including Jersey, Shorts and socks. Entries
accepted a the start of each camp for more info contact Charlie McLaughlin

skills and be coached by members of the Cork Ladies Football Senior Team who
are part of Charlie's Summer Camp staff, this is the camp to be at.
New Youth Café
Community Timebank is currently working with teenagers in Glounthaune to set up a Youth Café on Friday Evenings. If you would like to get involved as an adult helper or if you know some young people in the area who would like to get involved contact the Timebank office on 021 4524747.
Welcome
Community Timebank would like to welcome Fr. Howard to the parish. We wish him every success in his new parish. We would also like to extend the best wishes of the parish to Fr. Charlie and wish him well in his new parish.
Events
Community Timebank is organising a Wine and Canapés Reception with special guest Eddie Hobbs on Friday, 20th October. The Event promises to be a great night and every one is invited to attend. Those who purchased tickets for the Lunch Event last June will receive complimentary tickets. Additional tickets on sale in September and venue are yet to be confirmed.
The Annual Knockraha Family Funday will take place on Sunday, the 10th September 2006. The event is a fantastic day out for all ages and every-one is welcome to attend.
