Community Timebank’s Mission: 'to ensure that everyone enjoys and values being part of our own community'

Community Timebank brings people together who may be interested in getting involved in their community to: Improve community amenities and facilities Clean up their area Start interest groups from Irish Speaking Clubs to Hillwalking Establish community services such as a Youth Café, Support Groups etc. Organise community events- Family Fun Days, Wine Receptions, Lunches

Community Timebank is about supporting voluntary groups in the community by: Publicising matches, registration nights, fundraising events   Organising training – First Aid, Child Protection etc.   Helping them to find more volunteers

Community Timebank develops relationships between the businesses in the community and the people who live there: Allowing businesses to network with each other and within the community   Matching local people with jobs and work experience   Organising events for businesses – Budget Briefings, Pension Info Seminar etc.

Community Timebank improves communications within the community: Community Timebank uses IT such as SMS messages, emails and an up-to-date website to keep people in the community informed Community Timebank produces newsletters which are available in local shops, churches and schools Community Timebank uses local media – from church leaflets to local newspapers - to invite more people to get involved, and to publicise what the Timebank is doing
