Knockraha FC

Knockraha FC were formed in 2001, with players from the Glounthaune parish and players from Glanmire. We entered the Cork AUL league that August. Knockraha FC won the AUL President Cup that season, AUL team of the month for February and were promoted from the 3B league all in our first season. We held our own the following season, just losing out in the 1/4 final of the County Cup and Saxon cup and just outside the promotion places.
Last season we put a second team into the AUL league and both teams done very well in their leagues, with the A team again winning promotion, this time from the 2B league and are now playing the Cork AOH 1B league. The B team are playing in the Cork AOH 3B league again this season. The clubs pitch is in Pigeon Hill were we have two playing pitches and a flood-lit training pitch. Training is on Tuesday and Thursday 6.45 to 8.30 and matches are every weekend from August to end of May.
