Most of the group has joined the Bishopstown Hillwalking Club which leads walks each weekend. The grading system means that each walk is aimed for a certain fitness level. By keeping an eye on the grades you can tell whether you'll be fit enough for the walk or not. The variety of walks also means that you'll see a lot of Munster – walks are held in Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Waterford etc. Now that we have come into the summer season walks are also held each Tuesday evening. These walks are shorter than the weekend walks and so are ideal for people who are just starting out. Membership of Bishopstown Hillwalking Club is approximately €40 annually.
